Brave group (Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Keito Noguchi; read: hereafter ‘Brave group’) is pleased to announce that it has won a special award (JNB Chairman’s Award) at the Global Awards organized by the Tokyo New Business Council (abbreviated name: Tokyo NBC; located in Akasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Yukihiro Ikawa), a general incorporated association contributing to the promotion and development of new business and venture companies, (Chairman: Yukihiro Igawa) and the Federation of Japan New Business Councils (Chairman: Hiroshi Ikeda), which contribute to the promotion and development of new business and venture companies.
Brave group Overview and reasons for being awarded the Award
The Brave group’s mission is to ‘strike wonder in 8 billion hearts’, and it is developing several businesses, including IP Production, which is a VTuber business, IP Platform and IP Solution, which have a high affinity with the VTuber business. The company is also developing multiple businesses in the field of Incubation, both in Japan and overseas.
This year, the company received a special award at the 10th edition of the Global Awards in recognition of its attitude of continuing to take on challenges around the world and its business development in the emerging field of character IP business using the context of Japanese origin.
Brave group’s IP ecosystem
IP Production operates a business that delivers VTuber content and other content through IP production and talent management, and currently has 172 talents working on 18 projects.
IP Platform operates ‘Colleize’, an e-commerce site specializing in official goods and officially licensed products such as anime and manga, and ‘Brave stores’, a merchandise sales business for the overseas markets.
In IP Solution, we are developing businesses that contribute to the diversification of monetisation and operational efficiency of the VTuber content itself, in order to raise the profitability of our existing and planned IP projects.
We will continue to explore IP creation through a wide variety of services and media mixes, centered on IP Production, to build an ecosystem that maximizes the potential and profitability of IP.

We are delighted and humbled to receive this prestigious award.
There are many genres of business that represent Japan on a global stage, such as manufacturing and food, but we are a start-up established seven years ago that operates in the two-dimensional domain of character IP content.
For a young company like ours, one of the key survival strategies is how to get our global business off the ground and we currently have offices in the US, EU, APAC and China, and are really expanding our business worldwide.
We are working hard to become a global company like the companies we admire (Sanrio, Pokémon and Nintendo to name a few), but we will also lead the way and show the world Japan’s presence so that young people like us and even younger generations will follow in our footsteps.

Global Human Capital Forum 2024 Overview
This award was established to contribute to the economic vitality of Japan by raising the momentum to encourage ventures and small and medium-sized enterprises to expand overseas and Japanese people to become global human resources, and to celebrate successful cases that give ‘dreams and courage’ to expand overseas, for the sake of Japan’s economic development.
The awards are given to companies that are developing innovative overseas businesses and entrepreneurs who are active overseas with a vigorous spirit of challenge.
This year’s theme is ‘Small and medium-sized enterprises making an impact on the world’ and the awards will be presented to ‘small but great’ companies and managers who are creating value globally, not only in urban areas but also throughout Japan.
