Brave group has announced the business integration with LaRa, the managing company of virtual artist unit “HIMEHINA”. LaRa is now a subsidiary company of Brave group.

Background of the Business Integration
Brave group’s mission is to “strike wonder in 8 billion hearts”. To do so, we have been working mainly in three fields of business towards the whole world. The IP business consisted of the next generation virtual esports project “Vspo! (*1)”, and the virtual music label “RIOT MUSIC (*2)”. Secondly, the platform business which runs a virtual academic town “ME Campus (*3)” using our original metaverse engine “Brave Engine (*4)”. Finally, the incubation business, which runs an esports school “CR Gaming School (*5)” and develops emerging areas using AI and Web3 technology.

Since the beginning of this year, in addition to the establishment of several overseas offices, we have been working on an aggressive growth strategy that includes global expansion, mainly in the IP business, by holding virtual talent auditions for the English-speaking, Chinese-speaking, and European markets.

Virtual artist “HIMEHINA (*6)” is a unit consisting of members Hime Tanaka and Hina Suzuki. In addition to their music activities such as singing, dancing, and live performances, they are also active in a wide range of other activities such as game streaming, variety videos, TikTok, etc. Their YouTube channel has 770k subscribers, and their music videos are viewed more than 200 million times! The music videos of their original songs have all received more than one million views.

The business operation of HIMEHINA will continue to be under Studio LaRa’s discretion, maintaining its creative policy since their establishment as Tanaka Koumu-ten. In the wake of this business integration, we aim to drive HIMEHINA’s activities forward utilizing Brave group’s features in the areas of business management, systems and overseas expansion.
HIMEHINA is the 4th IP business (VTuber project) to join our group through business integration、 after “VSPO!”, “Palette Project ” and “MUGEN LIVE”.

Hime Tanaka, Hina Suzuki, and all team members having started as Tanaka Koumu-ten in 2018, incorporated as Studio LaRa in 2022, and operated as a team for HIMEHINA, have now decided to receive very strong logistical support.

In response to the “HIMEHINA Budokan Declaration” at our one-man live concert held in August, Brave group contacted us to say that they were willing to support as much as they could.

The unit held a one-man live performance “Chochin Ankou, Natsu wo Iku” at Omiya Sonic City in August 2023.
