Tokyo, Japan December 16, 2022 – Brave group has formally announced the establishment of their new esports facing subsidiary “Game & Co.” to conduct business operations with the aim of deepening the world of esports.
Game & Co. will take over the handling and management of esports related business operations formerly conducted by Brave group subsidiary Virtual Entertainment, outside of the “Vspo!” Virtual eSports Project.

Brave group set out with the goal to “strike 8 billion hearts,” and to that end have created successful IP such as “Vspo!” and “RIOT MUSIC,” crafted an original metaverse platform Brave Engine, and have developed a number of initiatives tackling Web3 and esports.
Until now, under Brave group’s incubation activities, their subsidiary Virtual Entertainment has tackled the lion’s share of esports activities, most notably the management of large-scale official tournaments.
The formal esports industry has skyrocketed in recent years with five-year projections starting from 2019 predict it will grow to become more than a 1.6 billion dollar industry by 2024 with a steady CAGR of 11.1%.

To properly focus on business development and expansion within the many ins and outs of esports, the new subsidiary will conduct related activities separately from Virtual Entertainment.
