Brave group US and its English-speaking VTuber project, V4Mirai, have launched an advent calendar project to celebrate the holiday season. As part of this project, the theme song “Alive In The Moment prod. ☆Taku Takahashi (m-flo)” has been released on YouTube, along with its featured music video. Additionally, a 3D special concert featuring all V4Mirai members, titled “Mirai Wonderland,” will be streamed for free on YouTube on December 21st and 22nd.
Background
In some cultures, the four weeks leading up to Christmas are counted as part of the advent season, during which, the advent calendar being an observed tradition. An advent calendar consists of a calendar going from 1 up to 25, with each day having doors or windows that can be opened, and each containing a small gift. Starting on December 1st, people open the corresponding day as a form of countdown to Christmas. This tradition has been gaining popularity in Japan in recent years.
As part of this Christmas tradition, V4Mirai launched a digital advent calendar project that started on December 1st, 2024. Each day, new digital content is released, and as of this article publication, 15 brand new content have already been revealed, including ASMR and karaoke relays.
Additionally, on December 21nd (Saturday) and 22rd (Sunday), a special 3D concert featuring all V4Mirai members will be livestreamed for free on YouTube. Stay tuned for this exciting event!
