Brave group announces through its metaverse content label, BEverse, the release of an original map for the popular online game Fortnite based on the 2017 Japanese horror game Shadow Corridor. Originally launched as a free indie title, Shadow Corridor capture attention with its distinctive atmospheric Japanese-style of horror. Now, reimagined for Fortnite, the new map Shadow Corridor will be available starting Friday, April 25, 2025 at 8:00 PM (JST).

Staying true to the original game’s atmosphere, the map blends traditional Japanese horror with the theme of surviving between light and shadow through intricate, mechanical traps and surprises unique to Fortnite. Set across two main locations: a decaying Japanese-style mansion and an original Japanese-style castle designed for this release, players must solve puzzles, explore eerie environments, and evade relentless enemies as they fight to escape. By fusing traditional Japanese aesthetics with horror, the map offers a tense, immersive experience shaped by unpredictable, trap-filled encounters.

Plot
While out shopping, the protagonist, Yuna Aoyagi, encounters a mysterious black cat and follows it, only to find herself lost in an eerie realm known as the Higurashi Corridor. As she searches for a way out, she begins to sense that something is deeply wrong, drawing her into a growing mystery. What fate awaits her at the end of these labyrinthine halls, as she unravels puzzles and survives deadly traps…?

Players can now experience the same chilling thrill of sneaking through dark, twisted Japanese-style corridors, while hiding and running from terrifying stalking entities, in an entirely new way within Fortnite.
This map blends the eerie atmosphere of Shadow Corridor with creative gameplay elements unique to Fortnite.
To the longtime fans of the original, I hope you will enjoy how the familiar fear of the stalkers has been reimagined in this new environment.
