MetaLab partners with Tokyo Tatemono to launch “Tokyo Meta Living”, a metaverse that allows users to simulate and share their preferred living space.

Introduction of virtual furniture made in a collaborative project with the metaverse school “ME CAMPUS”

We are pleased to announce the collaboration between MetaLab, Inc. and Tokyo Tatemono Co., Ltd. and the development of Tokyo Meta Living by the two companies. Tokyo Meta Living is a metaverse where users can simulate their own living space by selecting floor plans and furniture, and share their ideas with others. The service will be launched on February 2, 2024.

Background of service provision

Tokyo Tatemono has developed the “Brillia” condominium brand as a “total home brand” that not only provides buildings but also proposes enriched lifestyles through a variety of services. Through initiatives such as “bloomoi,” a project for co-creation of housing and living, and “Tokyo Compact Life,” a website that introduces a lifestyle that values one’s own individuality by utilizing properties in response to lifestyle changes, the company offers product planning and services that pursue the richness of life from multifaceted perspectives.

MetaLab, a company that provides support for companies entering the metaverse based on its proprietary metaverse platform, has recently partnered with Tokyo Tatemono to develop and provide “Tokyo Meta Living” in order to gain a deeper understanding of living space needs and provide better housing.

This service aims to create an opportunity to think about a comfortable home and enjoy your current and future home through the metaverse. To do so, it has a function to enjoy coordinating furniture and other items, and plans to hold events and disseminate information related to housing. The service also includes a function to share favorite rooms with others, which we hope will lead to the discovery of housing ideas for other users and Tokyo Tatemono as well.

A collaboration project with “ME CAMPUS”, a metaverse school

In collaboration with students of the “Metaverse Creator Course”, who are learning metaverse construction skills at MetaLab’s “ME CAMPUS”, the students created computer graphics of furniture to be installed in the “Tokyo Meta Living”.
The works created by the students will be exhibited in the lobby of the metaverse and installed as simulation furniture.
This was a valuable opportunity for the students to work on a corporate production project while acquiring metaverse skills.
