Tokyo, June 28, 2024 – Brave group and Smarprise are launching together Brave stores, the new worldwide retail service for Japanese official goods with both online shops and physical stores. The first physical store will open in the Shanghai Bailian ZX, the largest store for cultural contents in China on July 10, 2024 and will run for three months. A second store located in Haneda Airport Garden, the large emporium easily accessible from Haneda International Terminal is scheduled to open late-August of this year with more details to be announced at a later date.

Background
Smarprise joined Brave group in February 2024, bringing in their expertise with the retail and distribution of official goods based on various Japanese IPs developed through only e-commerce such as colleize(*1) or SURPRISE BOX(*2).
Through colleize and other e-commerce services, Brave group and Smarprise have been able to provide the Japanese market access to a large collection of officially licensed goods at a reasonable price. As the international market is still underdeveloped to this day, there is an opportunity to bring all those goods to a worldwide audience, facilitating access to those goods as well as help the whole Japanese cultural industry develop internationally.
Through Brave stores, Brave group will be selling both goods based on Brave group various IPs but also official goods from other Japanese IPs and make them available to fans all around the world.

With a first physical store in Haneda Airport Garden and the pop-up store in Shanghai, Brave group plans to expand by opening other physical locations in Bangkok and Seoul while also developing an online shop as well, bringing Brave group VTubers official goods to an international audience for the first time.
